1997 Custom Micro Cabin
This boat is built upon a commercial aluminum hull manufactured by Sea Ark in 1997. The aluminum is .0125 thick. I have built the cabin on top of this hull. It is 75% completed and due to a heart condition, I don't feel that I can complete it. There is no motor on it and it has a 25" transom. My goal throughout was to build a quality boat that my wife and I could cruise rivers and inland waters. I have had it in the Dunedin Marina and a Marina in Tennessee. I placed the boat in those slips with a trolling motor. There is a queen size birth in the aft. There is a 36” Samsung TV hung on the wall. The entertainment includes Dish TV with a Tailgater dish and a Sony DVD player. There is a propane instant hot water heater and shower and head with a flushing toilet. There is an air conditioner and it cools the cabin nicely during the summer. I use two compact disc heaters and they keep the cabin nicely warm during the winter especially in Tennessee. There is a 3,000-watt inverter installed. The cabin is completely wired for 110v and there are no issues with it. There is a propane stove with 3 burners and an oven, a microwave oven, a toaster, coffee maker and ice maker. I had just started wiring the 12v wiring but have not completed that. However, all the wire needed is included in the price, all first quality new marine wire. There is hydraulic steering almost installed, top quality Mercury shift and throttle cables and a Mercury Binnacle throttle and shift and all the Mercury wiring needed to install a Mercury engine. Anything I have purchased for the boat comes with, included in the selling price. I have a new Mercury stainless steel prop with 3 hub kits. I have an RPM gauge with all the built-in functions, in addition I have 8 individual function gauges. There is a 3-person sofa in the settee and a captains' chair plus 2 seats fore and port. The cabin was constructed of 1/2 plywood with .012 aluminum bonded. There are 5 Pella windows with screens and two entry/exit hatches, one on each side, port and starboard. As you can see from the picture there is a sliding glass door that gives entry to the cabin from the fore deck. There is an FM, Bluetooth and Sirius stereo system with 4 speakers throughout. There is ample storage in 3 double compartment cabinets. I am available to show the boat with several hours’ notice. Double axel trailer is included.
