1946 25’ Chris Craft Sportsman 25′ $49,000 Bonus- Custom fitted tandem axle trailer included! I have had many classics over the last 45 years but the 25 Post-War Sportsman remains my personal favorite. My family had one and I have regretted selling “Chris Miss” ever since! Proudly offered for the first time to the discriminating Buyer, she is the undisputed Queen of the Post War Chris- Craft fleet – the magnificent 25′ Sportsman, the most expensive and prestigious Chris-Craft “runabout” built after the War. As a limited production boat, only 208 were produced from 1946 -1950. Massive amount of mahogany, extensive hardware and fittings, gorgeous drop shear line, spacious interior layout….the list goes on. Take the whole family out in style and comfort. Completely restored with a “no soak” bottom, it was also re-powered with a Chrysler 440 330 HP big block engine. – the perfect match of power, performance & reliability for this boat. Can you tell this is one of my very favorites? In my opinion, she is also priced significantly under market. Many more photos available – She will not last long, folks!!!
For the history buffs, The 25′ was based on the 1940-42 25′ SPORTSMAN, which was an evolution of the 1936 24′ SPORTSMAN. Like the 18′ and 22′, the post-war 25′ used a rolled and rounded stem and bow cap, updated hardware, and a slightly different windshield design but otherwise was very similar to the pre-war design.
