The Travelwave 360 is the largest legally trailerable houseboat in the US. It is 36' long, 8' wide on the road, and 14' wide on the water. It has a main aluminum V-hull and also has aluminum pontoons that are lowered from the roof with the touch of a button to make it 14' wide, with 3' decks on both sides. These mate with the front deck, giving full outside deck access to the water. There are 29" tall railings that fold up to completely enclose this lower deck. Similar railings fold up to surround the full perimeter of the upper deck, above the cabin, along with two Bimini shades for that deck. It takes about 20 minutes to go from travel mode to water. Built in 2001, it is one of only five ever constructed with this unique design by Stoll Manufacturing.

The 28' cabin has a slide-out section that expands the central living area. There is a full kitchen with double sink with high-rise faucet and sprayer, propane stove/oven, microwave, six gallon hot water heater, 4-door 12 cu. ft. Norcold 1200 fridge/freezer, and raised panel oak cabinets. Sleeps five. The dinette in the slide-out converts to a bed, a couch expands to sleep two, and a private master bedroom in the stern sleeps two. Other cabin amenities include gang plank pull-out, full shower, toilet, and vanity, gas heating furnace, 13,500 BTU A/C, washer/dryer, built-in vacuum cleaning system and a satellite tracking TV dish. The motor is a 140 HP Tohatsu outboard with oil injection and hydraulic steering. A 5.5 KW Generac propane generator is mounted on the stern to use when not on shore power.

When towing on land, the Travelwave functions as a complete RV and can be used for overnight or extended stays in RV parks. There are scissor stairs, with railing, to directly access the cabin through the side door.

Price is $66,900. A heavy-duty, custom-made gooseneck trailer is also available for $8,000. Payment method is money order or cashier's check. Located in Johnson City, Tennessee. Buyer is responsible for shipping. See videos of Travelwave houseboats, which include the launching process, at:
