Penn State is selling a 1975 Specialty-Built Aluminum Boat with Honda 135 Motor and Trailer on GovDeals. The boat was used for research purposes and will have wear and tear from regular use. The motor is a four stroke Honda 135 Motor with 115 hp. The motor was purchased ten years ago. The trailer was recently purchased for the boat. The trailer is an Eddie English Co. Trailer, Model EEC27DO and the VIN is 1E9BB3026GM385003. A special mount was added to the boat to mount the research equipment.
These are the known problems with the boat:
1) scaling (oxidized aluminum on bottom 2) hydraulic steering leaks 3) riveted plates coming loose
***The trailer that is included with the boat is pictured by itself in the listing. The trailer the boat is on will not be sold with the lot.***
If you are the winning bidder you must contact Tina at (removed) to set up an appointment for the title transfer. The vehicle must be paid for in full before you go to the title transfer appointment. Any costs incurred in removal are the responsibility of the successful bidder. Securing any or all appropriate permits is the responsibility of the bidder.
Please ask any questions you need to know before bidding. Due to the amount of volume we process at Lion Surplus, we cannot test or guarantee any items. Most equipment will work fine, but please only bid the amount you are comfortable bidding if any repairs are needed. Most items will sell for a small fraction of what they cost new, but we in no way want to misrepresent what we sell. We will disclose any negative information about every item we sell, but since descriptions may be short, please do diligence in researching these items before you bid. All items are sold as-is and where-is with no warranties expressed or implied. We are a Penn State surplus store and not a dedicated equipment reseller; therefore many of our items come to us with little or no information. All sales are sold in "as is, where is" with possible latent and apparent defects, with no return, no warranty and no guarantee all sales are final. If you have any concerns, please ask before bidding.
Price reflects starting bid and is subject to change. To place a bid on a GovDeals auction all you have to do is register on the site. Registration and bidding process are all free.
