This one of a kind 1979 Sea Ray SRV Sundancer Weekender has twin 350s with velvet drives. The Single Handed Controls makes this twin screw a breeze to maneuver. This boat is a solid example of boats built by Sea Ray at a time when the use of wood was more prominent. And the wooden ladders, custom pulpit, tables and cabin decor show little signs of age or wear making this older Sea Ray even more attractive.
Very well maintained over the years, the pride of ownership is evident. The convenient cabin layout features a forward stateroom with v-berth, a u-shaped settee that converts to a double berth, a sink, cabinetry, a microwave/toaster oven, AC/DC refrigerator, a stove and an enclosed head. A forced air cabin heater keeps the cabin comfortable in less than ideal weather conditions. The cabin area is closed off with a folding top and bi-fold door aft with a one-step ladder from the main deck/cockpit.
The main deck/cabin/cockpit feature a double pilot-passenger seat at the helm. On the port side is a raised facing seat settee with post-mount table and storage under both seats. This can be converted to a double-berth when needed.
Aft there's a beautifully finished cooler box that can be used for food and beverages or simply for storage. A Bimini top with drop curtains and slant back enclosures keep pilot and passengers out of the elements when needed.
A custom, heavy-duty stainless-steel tube arch with four rod holders, has the radar, navigation lights and custom rear-facing deck lighting mounted to it.
On the main deck at the bow is a beautiful wood bow sprint with a roller and anchor. Mounted forward on the sprint is a search light with a remote control. Bow rails extend aft to the cockpit with double fender holders on either side. There is a wooden swim platform on the transom and a wooden access ladder aft starboard.
She is the only SeaRay Weekender I have seen with her interior. The interior cushions are like new and are not outdated. She has been a well maintained boat her whole life and it shows.
