A centre cockpit, fin keel, monohull sloop with an additional inner headsail. The Oceanlord is a well proven, sturdy, long distance cruiser, with comfortable accommodation. Designed by Ed Dubois and built to Lloyds Hull Construction requirements (Certificate SOU 816015). Berths for eight, including a spacious owners aft cabin, two heads and lots of storage. She is easily sailed with all three sails on roller reefing systems and all control lines in the cockpit. UK Part 1 registered and VAT paid. We have continually updated and maintained her in top condition, while living aboard for over 20 years, cruising the Mediterranean and the western Atlantic from Trinidad/Bonaire to Maine. Re-engined with a Volvo D2-40F and everything in the engine compartment renewed, including the fuel tank. Rub & Toe rails replaced with Wilks traditional woodgrain PVC, including replacing the hull to deck fastenings. Headlinings renewed or replaced with panels. New furling systems. Standing rigging & sails renewed. Professionally sprayed with Awlgrip. West epoxy system below water line. Badgers Sett is well equipped for live-a-board cruising with solar panels, wind generator, extra batteries, lots of shading, two autohelms, Honda generator, latest Raymarine chart plotter and radar, SSB radio & Pactor modem, multiple shore power connections, deck wash & fresh water transom shower, etc. Three anchors, chains and lots of warps. AB 9.5AL dinghy & 15hp Yamaha Enduro outboard. Our cruising phase is ending so everything required for living aboard is available, cutlery, crockery, galley equipment, loads of spares (engine, rigging, electrical, plumbing, etc.), tools, charts, etc, etc. Even a cold beer in the fridge. We are cruising at present, so all a buyer needs is their swim wear! Badgers Sett is genuinely in very good condition and more than “ready to go” – she is cruising now! We are planning to be in the Virgin Islands for February. Then either US East Coast or slowly back to Trinidad by May 2018. Puerto Rico, the VIs, Antigua, St Lucia and Grenada all have international airports giving easy access for viewing.
