Saved this Classic '57 Flare hull from the salvage yard and restored it to its' former classic glory. New custom pearl paint, upholstery, vintage hardware, reconditioned wiring and ignition, reconditioned shift/throttle controls, rebuilt steering system, rebuilt transom.
'57 Evinrude Lark 35hp electric start was found in a barn completely covered in spider web and mud wasp dirt, but has been completely restored inside and out. Starts with one turn of the key and runs excellent. This motor sports a custom metal flake and pearl paint job to give it that 50's "hot rod" look. It really turns heads at the launch!
'56 Johnson 6 gallon tank also rebuilt and painted. Trailer is galvanized, painted with new bearings.
Flare Fiberglass Boat Co., Lakeland, Florida built only around 1,000 boats between 1957 - 1962
There aren't many of these boats around anymore, and certainly none that look like this one.
