Excellent condition! Low hours! Completely restored!
Great Opportunity to own a fully restored 1979 MAKO 25.
This boat has undergone a full two yearlong restoration which was completed in 2013.
The boat is absolutely beautiful; pictures do not do it justice. No expense was spared during the restoration, everything was done right.
The transom and aft floor have been closed in and totally rebuilt using all core, no wood. Every wire, fitting and piece of hardware has been replaced.
All teak has been replaced with Starboard and all cleats and rod holders were replaced with new stainless pop up cleats and stainless rod holders. You have great access to all valves and pumps in the bilge as well as the Racor and primer bulb in the aft transom.
The hull was completely sanded then primed with high build primer and flat board sanded once again. This process was completed four times before the first coat of paint went on to ensure a smooth finish. Awlcraft 2000 paint was used and then followed by three coats of clear in order to protect the paint. The T-top was painted to match and a special aluminum primer was used to bond the paint to the top.
The motor is a 2007 Yamaha 300 HPDI with 465 hours. It has all of the most current Yamaha updates completed. There is no history of major issues logged with Yamaha. The rigging is all brand new in 2013 with the upgraded throttle and fuel management gauges. The motor is a 30" shaft and pushes the boat very well.
The motor was just serviced last month including all new fuel filters, gear oil, spark plugs as well as a full injector service. Receipts showing over $65k in restoration expenses.
This is known to be one of the best center console hulls ever made. It is a true tank, handmade in Miami back when they did not skimp on the fiberglass.
