The 43’ Endeavour Ketch was first built in 1979 and the production run ended in 1985. Stormy Weather has had only 2 owners. The first owners had the boat for 6 years from new and this owner has loved the boat for the last 31 years. The boat has been well cared for over the years by knowledgeable sailors and just over the last 2 years it has become more then these owners can handle and the boat is in need of a new owners. The 43 has a great reputation as a huge live-aboard and roomy cruising vessel. These owners have cruised the Bahamas for many years staying a month at a time and also cruised up and down the east coast sailing when weather allowed. They had converted the sails to all roller furling so they can be easily handled by one person with minimal effort. The cockpit is very large and there are custom cushions for comfort. The ¾ cockpit enclosure is in need of some window replacement, but all the canvas is there as templates. Over the last 2 years some of the ports have started leaking which has caused some wood damage inside so this vessel has some cosmetic issues that can be easily repaired. The salon offers 6’8” headroom so it is very roomy and all the interior cushions are in very good condition. There is so much storage throughout the boat, that you will always have room for more goodies. The 62hp Perkins diesel runs perfectly and burns less than a gallon an hour at cruising speed. The engine room offers abundant space for engine service with all around access and even room for a diesel generator if desired. Add some new electronics, make your repairs and sail away to the islands. If this fantastic sailing vessel is what you are looking for, then do not hesitate to call Barry at 954-873-1800 and make your offer.
