Premier Houseboats are pleased to present this Dutch cargo barge, with an incredible amount of high quality conversion work already in place, and ready to move on to and complete an amazing home.
The current accommodation is the original crews quarters, which comprises two double cabins, saloon, bathroom and fully fitted galley area. This is ideal to use whilst completing the conversion, and is currently being redecorated.
The main hold providing the conversion space has already has some very high spec and thorough work done, making completion a far easier task. This includes the following :
Floor - Raised floor consisiting of 9/2 joists mounted on central runner, 150mm recycled Jablite polystyrene insulation, aluminium foil blanket and underfloor heating pipe.
Walls (to gunnel) - 50mm air gap from steel, 100mm recycled Jablite polystyrene insulation, 5/2 timber framework with additional insulation, 12mm plywood face
Walls (combings) - 20mm air gap from steel, 4/2 timber framework with 100mm Jablite polystyrene insulation, 12mm plywood face
Ceiling - of the six sliding hatches 3 remain available to open, 100mm recycled Jablite polystyrene insulation, 19 layer aluminium foil blanket liner, 16mm British sourced cedar tongue and groove finish treated in Treatex Hardwax oil, double glazed toughened glass panel skylights in Iroko frames
Stage, Corridor and 2 bedrooms - additional heating circuits available at manifold to install underfloor heating throughout, raised floor 300mm Jablite polystyrene insulation, 5/2 timber frame with 100mm Jablite polystyrene insulation, lowered ceiling with 160mm soundproof rockwool bats, 100mm Jablite polystyrene insulation in aluminium hatches above and 12mm plywood face

New portholes have been fitted throughout.
There is also fitted 310l heatweb thermal heat store, tapings for solar water heater, multi fuel stove, gas or diesel boiler and immersion heaters.
